How to Use PickleWeights
Three steps to a perfect setup — attach, test, play.
Attaching the Weight
Line up the weight with your paddle's edge guard and press down firmly until you hear a clean click. That click means it's locked in and ready to play — no wiggling, no adjusting needed.
Removing the Weight
Place both thumbs at the back of the weight. Push off with both thumbs simultaneously — the weight will release cleanly without any force. No prying, no scratching, no damage to your paddle.
Testing the Attachment
After attaching, do a quick test: use your fingers to try sliding the weight up and down the edge guard. If it doesn't move — you're good to go. If it slides, remove and reattach.
The weight slides — remove and reattach until you hear the click.
The weight doesn't move — you're locked in and ready to play.

Known Incompatible Paddles
Through our own testing we have confirmed that PickleWeights clips are not compatible with Selkirk and Gearbox paddles due to differences in edge guard profile. If you own either of these brands we recommend not using PickleWeights at this time.
If your paddle is not Selkirk or Gearbox but your clips are not passing the slide test, your paddle may have a non-standard edge guard profile. Email us at support@pickleweights.com before your next session and we will help you troubleshoot.
If the clips continue to fail the test, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll issue a full refund within 5–7 business days. We'll cover return shipping costs for any compatibility issue.
